I have said before that I love the 60's and 70's! I am just so fascinated with all of the fashion from that time period. Soo I have decided that for the entire summer my wardrobe I will be Hippie and Im going to document my journey here! I am soo excited about this! Nervous.. but excited! Ok so I have done a bit of research on how to dress like a hippie that I would like to share with you (just in case you wanna partake on my fabulous idea!). The most important things that I found were: Minimal make up, lots of loose and simple belly showing tops, Bell bottoms!!, and LOTS and LOTS of accessories! and this is where I get the most excited! I love accessories... to the point of obsession probably. I have found that hippies wear a lot of hand made hair bands, bracelets and rings. And as an artist, I can make a lot of my own jewelry! The crazy thing is Feather hair extension's and clips are really popular right now. I have already made a few and I am thinking about making more to sell to people! I will let you know how that goes later. But for now I would like leave you with some of my favorite Hippie images...
